Project Brief
Using Javascript, this project was to create a browser-based divining experience. The divination experience had to take some sort of input from the participant (i.e. text, or even camera input) and give them some sort of output (a written message, an image, a sound, etc) based on their input. Additionally, the divination experience should load some json data.
Design Process
As someone with no experience with divination, the brainstorming of this project was very difficult. I finally decided to lean into this feeling and create an interface that is a glitchy/ unknowing divination giver. It takes in any question and responds to it from a set of quotes from a JSON. The idea behind this is that any inspiration you get from the divination project is solely dependent on you and that you shouldn't rely on an 'un-intelligent' machine.
